The Jeep Wrangler has always had a legendary following that is often passed down from father to son. Your dad should be pleasantly surprised that the 2011 Wrangler is even more capable than those driven by loyal followers in the past and yet the new interior has an eye for comfort, technology and style that is something new for this favorite work hard/play hard vehicle.
Dad will appreciate that the classic Wrangler look remains the same but the capabilities and feature just keep getting better. The best in off-road readiness is offered in the 2011 Rubicon models with features like extra-low gearing, heavy-duty axles, and electronically locking front and rear differentials. There’s never been a better off-road vehicle than Wrangler and that will never change. What has changed is that it has become a much more user-friendly on-road vehicle.
New features like a larger rear window in the soft top and heated power windows may be considered creature comforts but they are greatly appreciated. Inside there are more storage areas, more comfortable seating, and a lockable console, hands-free cell phone, and cruise control buttons at the driver’s fingertips. The interior also includes a USB connection for iPods and other MP3 players plus the ride is a lot quieter now after much attention was put on noise reduction in the new interior.
Dad may have a hard time getting used to the look of the 4-door unlimited Wrangler that has been growing in popularity ever since the introduction but he has to appreciate this feature when dropping off the grand kids and having them pop in and out of the back doors while he sits comfortable in the front. Steps just under the doors make getting in and out easier and you can expect the new Wrangler to handle much better on city streets.
The Wrangler just keeps getting better and there’s never been a better time to start your own family tradition with the new 2011 Jeep Wrangler. Please let your dad drive it at least once for old time’s sake.
