We are of course talking about the Chrysler 200 commercial featuring rap superstar Eminem. As we mentioned in a previous article this advertising spot did not hold back in telling you exactly what Detroit does, and does well. “This is motor city, and this is what we do.”
Chrysler has been delivering several surprises lately in the wake of the Super Bowl. The automaker has seen considerable demand for the new Jeep Grand Cherokee which was named the only U.S. finalist for the World Car of the Year award. Demand has been so high that the vehicle has seen sales soar over 130 percent.
One reason why the demand for Chrysler vehicles has increased over the past 10 months is the dramatic upgrade of the interior design. Traditionally, the interior has been very sparse with a drab gray plastic coating. The new lineup features a more comfortable, spacious, and inviting cabin.
Another reason for the increased demand is that after merging with Fiat the Chrysler mindset has been one of building a quality vehicle. This trend will continue into the future, and there is definitely a growing population of individuals talking about Chrysler. By keeping up with ground breaking advertisements and consumer demands the Detroit automaker is definitely making a comeback.
